The 3500/20 is a rack interface module designed and developed by Bently Nevada. The main interface of the 3500 rack is the Rack Interface Module (RIM). It supports proprietary protocols for configuring racks and retrieving mechanical data. The rear integrated module must be placed in slot 1 of the rack. (Next to the power supply). RIM supports compatible Bently Nevada external communication processors such as TDXnet, TDIX, and DDIX. Although the post integration module performs certain functions shared by the entire rack, it is not part of the critical monitoring path and has no impact on the normal operation of the entire monitoring system. Each rack requires one RIM.
