The 3500/53 is an electronic overspeed detection system designed and developed by Bently Nevada. The Bently Nevada electronic overspeed detection system for 3500 series mechanical inspection systems is a highly reliable, responsive, and redundant tachometer system designed as part of an overspeed protection system. Intended to meet the overspeed protection requirements of American Petroleum Institute (API) standards 670 and 612. These modules can be combined to form a binary or binary voting system (recommendation). The overspeed detection system requires a 3500 rack with redundant power supply.
