The design of the Bently Nevada 330750 / 330752 Velomitor separates the sensing element from the signal conditioning electronics, and the two are permanently connected by a hardwire cable. Due to the isolated design, the overall performance of the sensor system is comparable to other Velomitor sensors, but can be used at higher temperatures. By eliminating the connection between the sensing head and the associated signal conditioning electronics, a significant cause of potential sensor failure (connector problems) is eliminated. |
